Let's Connect
Learn more About EFT

My fee is $195 for individual sessions
and $220 for couples.

Hi, I’m April!

I believe that healing begins through connection—both with ourselves and with the people who matter most to us. As Brené Brown wisely said, “Connection is why we’re here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives.”

Through my advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I’ve been equipped with a proven, research-based roadmap to help couples move from reactivity to deep meaningful connection and healing. Research has demonstrated that this model creates long term positive change – couples who have worked with an effective EFT therapist are better able to understand and manage their conflict while feeling closer and more securely connected.

My role is to guide you back to each other—with clarity, compassion, and care.

I work with couples caught in cycles they can’t seem to break. Whether you’re stuck in reactive conflict or quiet emotional distance, I will walk alongside each of you to uncover the deeper patterns driving those repetitive arguments. Together, we’ll work to shift those patterns, build new ways of truly hearing one another, and strengthen your ability to stay connected—even in difficult moments. Through this process, couples rediscover trust, rebuild intimacy, and return to a sense of safety in the relationship.

Whether you’re coming in for couples or individual counseling, I’m here to support you in healing and becoming the person or partner you want to be. In a caring, non-judgmental space, my goal is for you to feel truly heard and understood by me and by your partner.

I relocated to Atlanta from Southern California in 2020. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, exploring local parks and hiking trails with my husband, our two young daughters, and our dog, and going to Braves games when I can.

I am a member of the following organizations:

 - ICEEFT: International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy

 - ACEFT: Atlanta Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy

I would be honored to work with you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out (april@innerbalanceatlanta.com)– I know sometimes that can be the hardest part. I’d be happy to elaborate on the process and what to expect.

Please note that April meets with clients out of our Brookhaven satellite office.
