My Office
Hi, I’m Josh!
Many people seek therapy during seasons of stress, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from themselves. I work with adults, couples, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, communication difficulties, relationship concerns, grief and loss, burnout, life transitions, anger, identity exploration, and questions of meaning or purpose. I also enjoy supporting individuals living with chronic illness, digestive concerns, and IBS, especially when health challenges affect emotional wellbeing and relationships.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe healing happens in relationship: with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, better understand yourself, strengthen relationships, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and aligned.
I draw from mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), relational and attachment-based perspectives, mind-body awareness, and over a decade of study and practice in Nonviolent Communication (NVC). For couples, I take an emotionally focused and communication-centered approach to help partners strengthen communication, interrupt painful patterns, deepen emotional understanding, and reconnect during moments of conflict or disconnection.
For clients who are interested, I also integrate nature-informed approaches, including walk-and-talk therapy, mindfulness outdoors, and movement-based practices.
I would love to set up a phone consultation to answer any questions you may have and explore whether we may be a good fit to work together.
