My fee is $150 per session for individuals and $175 per session for couples.
Hi, I’m Suzanne!
Many people begin therapy during painful or overwhelming seasons of their lives. While hardship is part of the human experience, you don’t have to endure it alone. I work with couples as well as adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, inner child wounds, and with those who are navigating life as neurodivergent (ADHD and Autism) as a fellow neurodivergent individual myself.
Individuals:
I draw from an eclectic blend of approaches, including Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal theory, and Somatic work.
-IFS (Parts Work) is an approach that helps you to understand the different “parts” of yourself — like the part that worries, is critical, angry, or tries relentlessly to keep everything under control— and explore how those parts are trying to protect you. By connecting with your curious and compassionate “self”, you can heal old wounds, feel more balanced, and in alignment with your true self.
-Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Work: In sessions, we might gently explore body cues and sensations as a way of understanding what your nervous system needs at a given moment. The focus is on noticing and supporting your body’s natural ability to regulate. This process helps cultivate safety, awareness, and connection with your inner experience.
Couples:
For couples, I draw from Gottman Therapy and IFS to interrupt conflict cycles, improve communication, embrace curiosity and compassion, and build emotional safety.
Teens:
Previously to becoming a therapist, I worked as a high school teacher. I feel very passionately about this age group, and strive to be a safe and relaxed space for teens to talk about their most vulnerable thoughts, worries, fears and experiences. In session we may explore personal identity, emotional regulation skills, relational skills, boundary work, and self esteem.
I accept you for the human you are in this moment, and show up to the therapy room in my own humanness. Therapy can be heavy work, but it doesn’t always have to FEEL that way each session. It can also be enlightening and freeing, or even humorous and playful at times. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative journey to help you build a more joyful, more fulfilled way of living. Let’s take the first step together.
